OUR STORY

It all began in the Philippines, where I grew up surrounded by textiles, colors, and creativity. Our family’s garment and printing business, founded in 1983, was more than just a livelihood—it was an expression of art and entrepreneurship. I watched talented artists work before advanced printing machines and skilled tailors turn fabric into something meaningful. That love for creation became a part of me.

London became the next chapter of my story. There, I immersed myself in the world of fashion, arts, and business. I began crafting small leather goods and handmade pieces to sell, each carrying a piece of my heart in every stitch. But life has a way of leading us where we’re meant to be.

In 2020, after my wedding in the Philippines, I planned a short visit to Seattle with my husband, Paolo, before returning to London. But then, the world stood still. The pandemic closed borders, and what was meant to be a temporary stay at my husband's home became an unexpected turning point in my life. In that stillness, I found clarity. My love for bags, art, and sustainable craftsmanship blossomed. I began collaborating with European artists and selling some of my artworks, creating with purpose, and supporting artisans in a time of uncertainty.

It was in those moments of reflection, creativity, and connection that CHARM & PAOLO was born. A brand that started in London but truly flourished in Seattle—built on the belief that fashion should be more than just style; it should be a story of resilience, empowerment, and artistry.

Officially launched in 2021, CHARM & PAOLO is a testament to the beauty of reinvention, the power of passion, and the courage to follow your dreams—even when the path takes unexpected turns. MATERIALS

Our signature handbags are crafted with sustainability in mind, made from 72% canvas, 8% recycled cardboard, and 20% durable vegan leather.

We focus on carbon offsetting by using recycled materials, upcycled marine waste, and collected plastic bottles to create stylish and long-lasting products. Some designs incorporate recycled leather scraps, repurposed using advanced eco-friendly leather technology.

Continuously exploring alternative crops and recycled materials, we source sustainable fabrics from the Philippines, including homegrown textiles. Our collection also features Apple Leather from discarded apple peels in Italy and Cactus Leather from Mexico.

CRAFTSMANSHIP

Our handbags are designed in London and Washington state, blending global artistry with modern style. Our Art Series bags are copyrighted and created in collaboration with talented artists worldwide, including those from France, London, and Seattle.

Each handbag is meticulously crafted by skilled artisans in Italy, France, China, the United Kingdom, and the USA, working under fair labor conditions with fair wages and safe workplaces.

We produce in limited quantities to minimize waste, aligning with our commitment to sustainability.
